Our members are encouraged to participate in the annual County Fleadh Cheoil competitions. Winners from the Kilkenny County Fleadh represent Kilkenny at the Leinster Fleadh. Leinster Fleadh winners go on to represent both their county and province at the national Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann hopes that 2022 will see the return of Fleadhanna as they were rior to the pandemic. Mullingar has been chosen to host Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2022 and the event will run from 31st July to 7th August 2022.
