Craobh Osraí was formed in 1987 as a branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is a non-profit cultural movement working for the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music. The committee and members of Craobh Osrai branch are proud to have been involved with this work of promoting Irish Culture in Kilkenny City, its surrounds and further afield for over 30 years.
